About Us
The Fayetteville Women’s Rugby Club (FWRC) is an up and coming sports team in the Northwest Arkansas area. Rugby is an internationally known sport that has been gaining popularity in the United States in the past years. FWRC is a competitive team that plays in matches and tournaments in the surrounding area. As a new addition to the NWA community, we give back to the community. We want to create a group for women to feel involved in their community, proud of their achievements, and part of a family. We want you to become a part of that family.
Most of our current members played with the University of Arkansas Women’s Rugby Team which has now evolved into the Fayetteville Women’s Rugby Club. We are a unique group of individuals who have come together to create one amazing rugby team. We have been through it all together and truly believe that through the ashes, we rise as one.
Our Values
Fayetteville Women's Rugby is a higher level of standards. We do not play “dirty” regardless of our opponents. Our values won’t be compromised. We are inclusive and collaborative. We strive for women empowerment and respect. We will always show respect for ourselves, competitors, and our community.
